[Serah turned on the comm. focusing it to her. She was quiet for a while before she spoke.]

Is it just me, or is everyone forgetting things a lot? I've been so forgetful lately... I couldn't find my engagement necklace for a while. I only had it off for a little while.

[There's an ackward silence, but she turns off the feed after a while]

[She nodded slightly. It would be best to do it while it's still somewhat warm... and that they remember. She giggled a little]

Alright.

[So she started to go to the entranceway of the mansion]

[Demyx is waiting there in...not so much beachwear, a long black leather coat, but he looks fine and dandy to go out in it.

He gives her a quick once over- smallish girl, a possible dancer's build? Maybe? We'll see.

She'd said something about an engagement necklace too...that's always an interesting heartstring to pluck at. Maybe later. If he remembers too.]

Serah, right?

[He takes his time out the door and down the steps, never in any big rush- not if there's no danger, or superiors or work to avoid.]

[She finally reached it, seeing Demyx there. She nodded, taking note of his odd apperal. Though, she wasn't one to talk. She just wore her regular outfit, not planning to actually swim as to relax on the beach area.]

Yep, and you're Demyx, right?

[She walked outside with him, starting to lead the way.]

[He gladly let her take lead, taking in the scenery, the neatly groomed rosebushes and checker-boarded rolling hills.

Mansion wasn't too shabby from the outside either. Demyx loafed, gawked.]

Gotta admit, for a small world it's pretty nice here. Not so haywire as the other Wonderland I've been to.

There's more then one?

Yeah, I've been to another place called Wonderland before. Sort of loopy. Easy to get lost in.

Ah, really? Sounds interesting.

What about you? You see anything like this place before?

Not like this place, per se, but there are interesting places on Cocoon. Most, though, are or can be dangerous.

A lot of worlds have that problem. Danger lurking in every corner? You've gotta learn to stay away from corners, man.

I wouldn't say every corner, but just about. Unfortunatly, there no where a L'Cie can run to get away from the security regiments and such other then maybe Pulse.

A life on the run-

Well I guess that's lonely, huh?

Yeah... I was prepared to leave everyone for the sake of their safety, but then Snow got involved and then we were spotted and... well... I got taken away. Lightning and Snow found me with the others, but... Well, I completed my Focus somehow.

[Demyx...may or may not be nodding just to keep from nodding off, and looking attentive.]

So ah- Lighting, Snow...your world has a thing for weather names, huh.

I guess so. Lightning chose her own name. She abandoned it for... reasons. But, aside from that. Look!

[She said, pointing to the beach.]

For reasons? Ah, well... I think yours is pretty-

Awww yes, Beach!

[And a crash of a particularly percussive wave punctuates his sudden swerve of enthusiasm, jogging up the the edge of the sand and pulling in a long breath of salt water.]

Ahh, I love the ocean, don't you?

It's a little complicated. Let's just say she doesn't want to use her real name anymore because of bad memories. She just goes by Lightning now.

[She smiled at his enthusiasm. She nodded, walking up to it, as well.]

It's calming.

The only person I know who'd go by a name like that....well, lets just hope you're sister's nicer.

I think it's a great little beach! I could really kick back in this world for awhile.

Well... I wouldn't say she's "nice", but she has her moments. She's more... serious, I guess you could say. She's not so bad, though.

And you? You don't seem too serious, it's a good thing!

No, I'm not. Her job kind of makes her serious and our past.

[He flops back in the sand, hands cupped at the back of his mullet, sprawling lazily]

Aw, I don't think anybody should take their job too seriously.

[Serah, too, took a seat in the sand. She looked up to the sky.]

She was on the Guardian Corp... She hunted down L'Cie and killed them if needed to keep Bodhum safe...

[She sighed in sadness]

Yikes. I bet that made for interesting family.

Lightning is the only family I have left. When I marry Snow, he'll be part of it, too, but even then.. Oh well. Family is family.
