[Enter Serah Farron, L'cie, enemy of Cocoon. She seems to be lost... and really confused, of course.]

Where is this place....? I'm.... alive? How am I alive? I completed my Focus, didn't I?

[Serah took a moment to try to understand her situation. It was... weird. That was to say the least]

I thought that I... turned into crystal. I don't understand what's going on.

[She looked around. Not only was she alive, she was also in an odd new place. She took the bandage off her arm. The L'cie mark seemed burned or scorched over.]

Hello?! Can anybody help me? Does this mean I still have my Focus?

[The comm goes out over time.]

[She looked back at her mark, wearing a worried and somewhat scared look on her face.]

But I... I turned into crystal so I completed my Focus so why... Why is it...

[DOn't mind her, she's mostly talking to herself.]

[After a moment, he nods, processing it so it's alright if she speaks a bit to herself -- it gives him a moment to think]

Hmm~~

Well... this place is kinda weird so maybe it decided to give you a second chance?

You really think so...?

[As comforting as this should be to her, along with his smile, it wasn't. It just made her fear even more if she still had her Focus or not.]

I.. I don't understand what's happening. The L'cie mark... it's scorched over but.. does that mean I still have my Focus or not?

[Oz offers a nod but hesitates when she asks that, making him look a bit thoughtful before smiling again]

I think you don't have to worry about anything like that here.

Wonderland decided to let you live here once again. Consider it like a reward or something for completing your Focus~

[She looks at him and finally, she sighs in relief, letting out a smile smile.]

Is that so..? Well then... I'll take advantage of that life that was promised to me then.

[A small laugh and the smile becomes a bit brighter as he shifts a bit where he sits]

Ah~ Which reminds me then. Is there any way you'd tell me more about your world? I mean... besides what you've already said involving those L'Cie and the Focus-stuff~~?

Ah, if you'd like. But first, don't you think we should introduce ourselves?

Ah... well.. I kinda wanted to know more on that L'Cie stuff. Like.. what exactly IS a Pulse L'Cie anyway?

Uhh... Well... you see it's...

[She stops, trying to think of the right words. She knew the best way to explain it, but it still bothered her to think about it.]

You see, in Bodhum, or rather more specifically, Cocoon, there are things called the Fal'Cie. The Fal'Cie are the ones who supply the food and lights. Basic things that you need.

But, they also have some Fal'Cie that bound people to a Focus. They call them Vestiges. Once you've become a Pulse L'Cie, you are given a vague vision of what your Focus is and you must complete it before the given time is up. If you succeed, you become crystal, graced with eternal life, or so they say.

If you fail... well... you become a Cie'th instead.

[She stopped there. She didn't want to lose him so she tried not to say too much information at one time.]

Err... it's a complicated thing, but yes.

Ah. I don't know anything about this 'Focus' you're talking about. But I do know enough about this place to answer any questions you might have.

Ah! I know I'm in a place called, "Wonderland", but that's all I know. What else would be helpful to know...?

There's quite a bit more to this place than that. Wonderland is rather complex. It's dangerous, especially if you don't understand.

Lets see... well, for starters, this mansion has supposedly called us here in order to feed off of our memories. When it does so, strange events happen. Some of them are dangerous, others, not so much.

Haha... well, I know it's a lot to take in, so, I'll try to take it slow for you.

No, I think I understand. So the events are often based on other people's memories, but many of them are dangerous... right?

That's right. And whatever memory causes it is the one the mansion devours.

There's one other danger I've had the misfortune of coming across as well. That is the Mirror realm, or whatever you want to call it. The people who came here also have mirror selves that live on the other side of the mirrors in this place. And as it might suggest, their personalities and wishes are often the exact opposite of their counterpart's wishes. There are times when they can cross over, or be seen on this side. You should be wary of them. If you aren't careful, they might try to fool you or worse.

Or... worse? Even... Does that mean that even I have one...?

It's quite possible. From what I've seen, anyone who comes here can have one. Maybe even everyone who enters this place does. I can't be sure. But I do know that they always seem to cause trouble whenever they do appear.

What about rooms...?

Everyone has one. The mansion makes sure to have accommodations for everyone it drags in. It has a habit of changing to fit your tastes. And you can go to the closet for anything you need. It will give you whatever you ask for, really.

Ah... that seems rather difficult. Even so, I doubt those rules hold true here. After all, this is something of a different world. And no one really knows how long they'll be stuck here. So I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Yeah... but I can't help but still worry a little. A L'cie... it's like a ticking timebomb ready to blow up at any given minute. Even if the rules may not apply here, I can't be completely certain that I'm cleared.
